A number of the top architects and designers attended Kohler’s 150th-anniversary celebration at India Design 2023, the most prestigious design show in the nation. In addition to presenting its history, Kohler unveiled Sveda, a futuristic product that will improve a modern woman’s everyday skincare routine.

Kohler built a special installation at the pre-symposium space to honour its history that features six historical colours from 1927 to 1973. When these colours were introduced, they received a lot of positive feedback, which helped Kohler establish its global aesthetic. Colour has recently catalyzed change not just in the fashion, styling, and décor industries but also in promoting mental health & personality expression. In the past few years, Kohler India has established itself as a leader in this industry by introducing the idea of India-inspired colours to go with the already popular finishes worldwide.
The brand unveiled the first-ever steam basin, Sveda, at the India Design Expo Area, continuing its tradition of innovation. The Sveda basin makes it easier to incorporate steaming into daily skincare routines to promote skin health by deep cleaning pores, eliminating toxins, and enhancing blood circulation.
With the introduction of this product, the company hopes to revive the idea that self-care is important by transforming bathrooms into wellness spaces. The company developed an experiential space where customers could see and use the product in action to create an immersive experience. With several initiatives like these, Kohler has maintained its position as the industry leader in bathroom design and technology year after year.
